I have a tele-style guitar with a 15.5mm thick headstock. Will these fit or do I need a set with 21.5mm posts?

These definitely won't fit on a 15.5mm thick headstock. You might be able to get away with a set of 20mm posts (which we sell individually). Most manufacturers would consider that fine. Our recommendations add a little more wiggle room because in our experience, most customers don't like when the hole is basically at the level of the bushing. It depends on the individual. For some people, extra-Long (21.5mm) posts would be a more comfortable fit.
