Could this switch replace the off/on/on switch in a Gibson Explorer GA-15 RVT amplifier?
Switch - Rotary, 3 Poles, 3 Position
I need to replace the on/off polarity switch in a 1965 Gibson Explorer GA-15 RVT amplifier, it was originally used with a death cap and had 3 positions (Off/On/On) . I was originally designed to reverse the AC polarity to help reduce hum from ungrounded wall outlets in the 1960s. I still want the 3-pole 3-position rotary feature. Will this switch work electrically?

This is only rated for 0.3A 125VAC. So, if it needs to handle more than that, it isn't recommended.
