It is as advertised in the product description, 3 springs. What do you mean by a "copy" of the original? It matches the performance specs of a 9AB2A1B reverb tank. If you consider that a "copy", then sure. But, it sounds different and is assembled differently to be more robust/durable than the originals. So, not really a "copy". Rather, an "upgrade" (assembly-wise, tone of course is subjective).
