Diodes will usually raise an amp's voltage by at least 30v (vs tube rectifier) so be sure to have fesh capacitors.

You should expect some voltage increase, possibly more if replacing 5U4 or 5Y3. Test for the specific amount, and adjust circuit as necessary.
