As advertised, these can be used in either position. They are vintage voiced pickups, which do not have dedicated "neck" or "bridge" positions. Pickups used to be the same in all positions. For slightly less output in the neck position, there are several things you can do. Raise the height and/or screw heights of the bridge pickup, or lower the height and/or screw heights of the neck pickup until you reach the desired balance.
