I would like to replace the Standby switch on my blackface Super Reverb. It needs to switch 500VDC

The specs only talk about AC voltage

This is the switch used for standby applications in most guitar/bass tube amps like yours, despite its voltage rating. For legal reasons, we don't offer technical advice as to why. Consult a qualified amp tech in your area for the details. 500VDC switches just aren't used in our industry (or would be considered EXTREMELY rare) in the standby position on tube amps for guitar/bass, including on your specific amp model.
