Re: cable
SquarePlug SP400 - 1/4" Mono Right Angle "Pancake" Plug
Hi, I see Mogami 2314 cable is recommended. I've reviewed the specifications from KMMK however the assembled dimension for the wire pass through is unknown from the dimensions given. I'm concerned about insufficient strain relief with the 2314 and and thinking I prefer Mogami 2319 to the 2314. Can the 2319 be used with the SP400 regardless of the recommendation for 2314?

Choose a cable that is within the recommended diameter. Great strain relief is required when there will be strain on the cables (in motion, walking around a stage, etc). On an idle pedalboard where they are only being used to go from one stationary pedal to the next, it is much less of a concern. Just choose a cable that is the correct size and you'll be fine. If you try to fit a cable that is too large for the opening of the plug, you may risk damaging the cable.
