Speaker selection. Creamback 65 or 75?
Celestion G12H-75 Creamback - 75W 8ohm
I have a Mesa Boogie MK V combo that I installed a C V30 into it years ago. I'm thinking of changing the speaker to something that'll give the combo a little more bass without muddiness. I know the Creamback 65 has more lows but I'm curious if the 75 might be better interms of tight lows but not sure if that'll be too bright in open back combo. Recommendations?

It depends on the resonant frequency of the cabinet itself. Low end response in a cab is the product of a combination of both the speaker and the cabinet dimensions/design. They resonate together, which is what shapes the low end response. A speaker with less low end output that is placed in a cab that emphasizes those low frequencies can sound much more bass heavy than another speaker with more low end in a cab that doesn't resonate the same way. So, it's impossible to tell for certain. But, comparing the two speakers on identical baffles with no cabinet influence, the 65 will have tighter lows and less overall brightness than the 75.
