LPs, SGs, 335s, and many other styles of guitars have angled neck pockets, where the neck has a break angle away from the line of the body:

You can usually tell if your guitar has one by looking at the point where the neck attaches. If it is in-line with the body, it is likely not an angled neck. If it appears to be higher off of the body at the end of the fretboard compared to where the fretboard meets the body, it is angled.
