It will typically replace a Nashville style TOM. If you are replacing an ABR-1 bridge, you'll likely need to drill new post holes to install the STM.
Will the Schaller roller bridge fit Gibson ABR-1 posts and is it the same width? Schaller STM Bridge (choose finish) CLEARANCE
I'm putting a Bigsby on a SG 61, looking for a roller bridge to fit the ABR-1 posts (or with converters).
