If wired correctly, yes. Wires from the amp go to the common side, speaker wires would go to the switching side. Although, for critical applications like that, we always recommend the higher quality Cliff version.
Will this work as an external speaker jack for a guitar amp (disconnecting the internal speaker)? Generic - 1/4" Mono Switching Jack (4 lug; straight PCB)
