You set the height of the pots using the 2 nuts, so it doesn't matter so much in a guitar with lots of room, like a tele.
would these be suitable legnth for a telecaster deluxe build? CTS - A500K Split Shaft Pot
building a tele deluxe, not sure what pots to choose in terms of length/size.
