Nut recommendations
Graph Tech PQ-6010-00 - TUSQ Slotted Pre 2014 Gibson Nut
Hi, I have a 1963 Gibson SJ acoustic and I am in need of a new nut. The measurements of the existing nut are.
L. 1 11/16" W. 3/16" H. 5/16"
E to E 1/716"
A to B 29/32"
D to G 5/16"
Which of the 2 would you recommend ?

The 6400 isn't quite tall enough and would require a shim. The 6010 is a closer size, allowing you to shape it down as necessary. But the string spacing is narrower by about 0.04", so it's up to you if that change will be ok or not.
