They are 2.1mm, which is the industry standard. I just tried a number of those jacks on the PSA-120 plug I have here at the warehouse, and they all seemed to fit just fine. They are a tight fit (on purpose), so you may just need to push a little harder than you think. It's also just possible you've received a defective jack.
