If I were trying to add a speaker input to my vox ac10 to run an attenuator, this jack would be ideal right?
Generic - 1/4" Mono Switching Jack (4 lug; solder)
The main idea being that if the speaker output and new input I make with this are not in use then the amp should run as usual with the internal speaker if wired correctly. I’m brand new to electronics and this really appreciate this new site feature!

A jack like this would be the correct choice, though I would opt for something a little more robust in terms of quality for a critical part like that. A matching mono Cliff jack, or a Switchcraft #12A, or something else "brand" name with a switching lug.
