No. As in the description, it is primarily designed to be used on clear-coat finishes. So, mainly the body, the back of the neck (if finished), and the headstock (if finished). If you have a finished maple fingerboard, you would also use this. There are other products that are more ideal for use on strings and unfinished fretboards.
